Imbolc is a Gaelic festival, also called Saint Brigid's Day, which marks the beginning of spring and a halfway point between the winter solstice and summer equinox. It celebrates the goddess Brigid, associated with wisdom, poetry, healing, protection, smithing and domesticated animals. SCC celebrates Imbolc by connecting with eachother virtually in the depth of winter. During the long break between Yule and Beltane, we love to take this opportunity to see eachother, sing together, share our lives, reconnect, and plan together for the spring.
