YuleStart: Friday, December 8, 2023 at 5pm End: Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 12pm | What is Yule?Yule is our coziest of holidays, marking the longest night of the year and celebrating the winter solstice with gift exchanges, music, merriment, and deep reflection. In 2023 we are back to hosting in-person Yule, this time at a new venue: Camp Round Meadow in Sabillasville, MD. This year we are mixing together classic Yule traditions, the figure of Father Christmas, and the mischief of Krampus to bring you a two-track event exploring the many aspects of Yule. Expect tasty treats and foods (including gluten-free and vegetarian), axe throwing (as long as we still have the axes), crafting hangouts (bring your own or learn a new one), and be ready to bring your whole authentic self to Yule- be it warm and welcoming or dark and mischievous. Yule this year will happen during the first two nights of Hanukkah! If Hanukkah is part of your faith and you would like to help us incorporate this into our event, please email admin@stonecirclecouncil.org. We would love to share any rituals that would be meaningful.
