10:30 AM Mala Bracelet Making Island Malas and Prayer Beads have been used for centuries all over the world to help focus the mind during meditation and prayer. Perhaps most famous in Tibetan and Buddhist rituals, as well as Christian Rosaries, prayer beads can be used in any practice as part of religious faith or non-religious spirituality and meditation.

Pagans of many kinds have adapted the concept as well, using mala-style bracelets and longer bead strands to focus energy for personal magic practice as well as meditate and pray to their deities of choice.

Join Birdie Fireheart in the crafting of your own mala bracelet to aid in your personal practice. We'll craft and leisurely discuss our thoughts and ideas on prayers or meditation mantras we can use for our final products.
