Spend the 'Time Between' with Spirit Family

Saturday October 31st through Sunday November 1st
With Stone Circle Council 

Registration Options: 

  • Away Team- ($15)  This registration option includes an at-home package. The package will include most of the ceremonial items and some workshop items that will help give you the full community experience. (MUST REGISTER BY 10/21 at 9pm) 
  • Day Pass ($0)-This registration option lets us know you're coming, but will not get you the away-team box and is pay-what-you-can.
  • Youth ($0)- Anyone 17 and under qualifies! Our second generation is honored, cherished, and free.

Samhain 2020 Basic Schedule 

Saturday, October 31st

  • 9:00 AM - Coffee Pavilion opens

  • 11:00 AM - Opening Ritual
    Intent: To share our sorrows and our joys with the community. Sharing sorrow lessens the individual burden and sharing joy lifts everyone up.

  • 12:00 PM - Lunch

  • 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Workshop block
    Divination time - "The Grand Reading of the Year"
          Tarot readers gather to jointly cast the Samhain Divination Spread and read for SCC Season 3.  Also people can request individual readings.
    Create your mask and decorate your pumpkin time

  • 4:00 PM - Irish-style Wake for the Dead and Dinner
    This is a time to celebrate the lives of the people we’ve lost, rather than mourn their death (although we can do a little bit of both!) We will take turns sharing happy stories of our loved ones, so that they can be remembered in the community with joy. Toasting optional but recommended; you might not want to use whiskey for every toast but we won’t judge!

  • 5:00 PM - Ceremony: Universal Temple of Spirits honors the Ancestors
    Bring a list of the names of your ancestors and let us know if you wish to add a Spirit to the list we will sing for. Have a song or poem for the Spirit, or ask for help to find a song.
             The list of spirits will be available in the wake Zoom room, and the transitions from one spirit to the next will be announced so people can come and go as they wish.

  • 9:00 PM to Midnight - Masquerade Ball with special guest DJ and Halloween Hits

Sunday, November 1st

  • 9:00 AM Coffee Pavilion opens

  • 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM - Workshop block

  • 1:00 PM - Lunch break

  • 2:00 PM - Closing Ritual
    Intent: To plants seeds of gratitude, self-care, and hope.

 

Please consider our Sunshine fund:  Consider adding any number of dollars to your registration fee. This little bit of sunshine will be used to help those who are unable to pay for Away Team registration to get their own box! We are Stronger together! If you need help paying for your Away Team box, register and choose "invoice me" and then send an e-mail to admin@stonecirclecouncil.org
