The LGBTQ+ Pride Circle is a sacred space co-created and held by queer pagans, heathens, witches, and their accomplices. This space will be used to:

    • Connect with Queer Ancestors/Queer Mighty Dead
    • Facilitate conversation around sacred queer spirituality
    • Allow space to explore queer identity intersects with a participants path/tradition
    • Engage in community brainstorming for “queering” our practices
    • Hold space for processing of current events with community medicine

This circle will be held monthly in a virtual format to make it as accessible as possible for participants. Participants are asked to respect the privacy, security, and time of their peers by showing up before the formal circle space begins and not sharing the link with others.

    Schedule:

Fourth Wednesday* of the month from 7:30-9:00pm. Formal circle begins at 8:00pm.

The first half hour will be an informal space for chatting, getting to know each other, and letting off steam. The formal Circle will be cast at 8:00pm. This co-created space will be used to build supportive community, engage in self- and community-healing, explore sacred queer spirituality, etc.

Hosted virtually via Zoom. Pre-registration required to ensure safety for community members.

*Rescheduling communicated in advance for an alternate Wednesday

    Beltane 2024

Spring is here! Beltane is calling us to the great outdoors
to shake off the winter, to dance, and to weave a Maypole
We welcome new comers and long timers to meet in Nature’s embrace.

Together we’ll celebrate the signs of the quickening of the Earth:
soil warming, sap rising, shoots growing, roots deepening, and flowers budding

Are you ready for an outdoor reunion, with familiar and new friends?
The Beltane fire welcomes us. The wreaths and ribbons connect us.
Arms outstretched to hold the ribbon, feel the sway and weave
Let’s gather in body and spirit sharing the joy of Beltane in
sacred rhythms, songs and the energy of creation.

    About the Venue:

Stone Song Center is a welcoming space nestled in the Allegany Mountains of Western Maryland. It includes a beautiful farmhouse overlooking 23 acres of luscious land and a renovated barn that serves as a retreat center.  The barn has electricity, running water, and bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets. The land includes a small pond and creek, a fire circle, nature trails, an apiary and an organic vegetable garden and orchard.

Most of our attendees camp and those costs are included in the basic registration.  Camping at Stone Song is find-your-own space, with some meadow and some tree-based spaces. Bring your own camping equipment and towels; shared bathrooms are located in the barn with hot showers and flush toilets. Non-campers can upgrade to bunkhouse or farmhouse accommodations. A Day Pass option is available for those who want to attend during the day but sleep elsewhere.

Accommodations in the bunkhouse are dormitory-style, with single and double beds in a shared space and with shared bathrooms. Linens are provided. The farmhouse has two rooming options. Both provide linens and towels, and both have shared bathrooms. The Clover room and loft offer seven beds in shared spaces. The Beebalm bedroom, which sleeps 3, is a private room with one queen and one single.

Wherever you are staying, please be mindful that other attendees' tents, rooms, and sleeping spaces are to be treated with respect. These are private places for those who occupy them and you should only enter with explicit, enthusiastic consent.

Stone Song Center does not allow personal camp fires; please be mindful of that when planning meals.  We will also offer a limited number of meal plans for those attendees who prefer not to cook for themselves. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Stone Song Center does not have trash service so please plan to pack out anything you pack in.

As always in these pandemic times, please don’t travel if you have any of the following symptoms:

    Fever or chills

    Cough

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

    Fatigue

    Muscle or body aches

    Headache

    Welcome BACK, Fire Family!

Our Venue: YMCA Camp West Mar, 14509 Brown Road, Sabillasville, MD 21780

    "Oh, sweet soul of mine
    You are rather astonishing
    For you are an alchemist
    Transforming wretched ash
    Into a glorious phoenix

I curse the ones who ever told you otherwise."

    ~Ali

TriFire 2024 seeks to explore our own personal transformation from lead to gold in ways both familiar and unfamiliar. We experiment with the ingredients brought into our sacred container by you, our participants, in this grand experience! North, South, East and West, Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Spirit, planets, metals, alchemical metaphors, and Jungian archetypes will take flight as we explore the mythos and rich symbolism of the birds of alchemy: the raven, swan, peacock, and the phoenix!

TriFire is a sober event; music, song, dance, fellowship, and the night are among our ingredients.

    Lodging Options

Camping and bunk bed options are paid on a per-person basis. The private rooms may be shared by more than one person; in which case, only one member of the group needs to register for the Private Room; additional guests should register under the "Guest - Private Room" setting.

The lodging options are as follows:

    1) Camping ($135 thru 5/16; $175 beginning 5/17) - With access to indoor bathrooms, showers, and flush toilets. A very limited number of small RV's or Trailers can be accommodated - email Admin@stonecirclecouncil.org to make arrangements.

    2) Bed in a Shared Cabin ($150 thru 5/16; $190 beginning 5/17) - Bring your own pillow and linens. Bathrooms and showers are in an adjacent building. Cabins 1-4 have ten bunk beds per room, Cabin 5 has five bunk beds and 7 single beds. We will be limiting capacity to 50%

    3) Private Room with Two Single Beds ($335 thru 5/16; $375 beginning 5/17) - Bring your own pillow and linens. Bathrooms and showers are in an adjacent building. Five rooms available.

    4) Guest - Private Room ($135 thru 5/16; $175 beginning 5/17) - Use this option if you plan to share a Private Room with someone else, who has already reserved the room; 4 room limit.

    5) Youth - Camping (FREE!) - Use this option if you are under the age of 18; must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. TriFire does not provide separate children's programming.

** All rooms, beds, and camping options are available for an Early Bird discount of $40, now thru May 16 - register early, help us plan, and save money on the way! **

Wherever you are staying, please be mindful that other attendees' tents, rooms, and sleeping spaces are to be treated with respect. These are private places for those who occupy them and you should only enter with explicit, enthusiastic consent.

    Meal Plan
An optional meal plan is available! For just $60, our cook will prepare 7 sumptuous meals in Camp West Mar's commercial grade kitchen for you. No need to pack a cooler, ice, camp stove, and spend precious time cooking at your camp; let him do it for you! The meal plan will include: Friday breakfast and dinner, brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday. Please be sure to include any dietary restrictions in your contact information so we can prepare accordingly.

Please Read! - The Parking Situation

Parking at Camp West Mar is very limited. If you can, please carpool with a friend, or two! We are encouraging use of the cabins and signing up for the meal plan to reduce the amount of "stuff" you need to bring. We will likely have to double-park cars at some point - please uncheck "Ok to double-park me" in your registration form if you need access to your car during the event.

    Sunshine Funds
TriFire and SCC do not want money to be a barrier to attendance at one of our events. If you are experiencing financial difficulties and could use a little "sunshine" in your life to help make attending TriFire possible, please choose the "Invoice Me" option at the conclusion of your registration process and send an email to admin@stonecirclecouncil.org to let us know what you need. Sunshine funds can be applied towards basic event fees, but not for add-on items such as accommodation upgrades and meal plans.

"Wherever we go, we are Home. Wherever we call Home, we shall raise Stones."

Stone Circle Council is expanding upon the nomadic ethos evoked in the two simple lines above this year for our Stones Family Gathering as we travel to Capon Bridge, West Virginia and the idyllic valley setting of Buffalo Gap Retreat campground.

Stones shall be moved, and raised into position the old-fashioned way ... using ropes, rollers, pulleys, and human-power - by the dirt on your hands, and the sweat on your brow, this work is made holy.

The gathering opens to our registered guests beginning at 3:00pm on Thursday, August 29th, and runs until 11:00am on Monday September 2nd. There will be ceremonies, tales and songs told around the Bardic Fire, opportunities to wander this new location, take a dip in the spring-fed pond, and (of course) to raise Stones.

This year we will be focusing our ceremonial intent on _____.

The below links are for informational purposes only. Stone Circle Council has rented the entirety of the Creekside Campsites and The Island group site in addition to several cabins for our guests. Your general event fee includes use of the six bathrooms in the Slane's Knob and Sandy Ridge cabins, the Rising Day "doughnut", sacral foods, and Feast dinner.

Stone Circle Council LLC is a Registered Non-Profit with the IRS.
